These are a direct replacement for the reduced diameter studs that are fitted as standard.
Because the thread diameters have not been reduced or 'machined down' there are no stress points liable to breaking at the connection to your exhaust and head, they also remove the need to source the very expansive and hard to find M7 standard nuts.
These also come with the machined hexagon in one end so fitting and removing if necessary is simple, will not rust and will continue to look great on your engine for years to come.
 
Always apply a smear of copper grease to all mating threaded parts.
